Synopsis
Remington Stringer has never been like most girls. She’s outspoken, brazen and wants nothing more than to escape the Nevadan hell hole that she calls home.
On the brink of eighteen, with a deceased mother and a well-meaning, yet absent father, she is forced to fend for herself. The only person she’s ever had to depend on is her borderline obsessive stepbrother, Ryan. But, what used to be her anchor is quickly becoming a loose cannon.
When Remi gets the opportunity to attend the best private school in the state during her senior year of high school, she jumps at the chance. Then she meets Mr. James. Ornery, aloof, and totally irresistible.
Most girls would swoon in secrecy.
Most girls would doodle his name with hearts in their notebook.
But Remi Stringer has never been like most girls.

NO SPOILERS!
Misbehaved was my first taste of Charleigh Rose’s writing and I really enjoyed it! I am a huge fan of the forbidden romance trope, and Misbehaved definitely fit the bill. The storyline and characters were great, and I really enjoyed Charleigh Rose’s writing style.
Pierce and Remington were amazing characters, and I truly enjoyed reading their story. It was different than I expected it to be. There were some aspects of the plot that I didn’t care for, and it did feel like something was missing throughout that would make it a five star read for me, but otherwise I loved this book. Pierce and Remi had wonderful personalities and undeniable chemistry together, and I enjoyed how their relationship progressed throughout. There were plenty of up and down moments, but all of it was worth it in the end. I loved reading the book from both of their POV, and I enjoyed all of their banter and interactions with each other. Even though Pierce was twenty-nine and Remi was eighteen, the age gap wasn’t a problem for me whatsoever. I personally prefer a slightly older man, and Pierce definitely met all of my expectations and then some. Remi was very mature for her age and Pierce wasn’t a pervert or anything creepy like that. I was rooting for them from the start, and I was very pleased with the conclusion to their story. I would have loved something more to happen, but I was still satisfied with the ending.
Misbehaved was a sexy, intriguing, and addicting forbidden romance, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Charleigh Rose did a wonderful job with this book, and I was happy with the outcome to Pierce and Remi’s story. It was my first novel by this author duo and it definitely won’t be the last. I am very much looking forward to reading their next standalone novel, Bad Habit!
FOUR “Pierce & Remington” STARS!
I had so much fun reading this book. I adore teacher/student plots and I thought The author did a fantastic job.
