From bestselling author L.J. Shen, comes a new standalone, enemies-to-lovers romance.
Heir to a media empire.
…And my new boss.
I could have impressed him, if not for last month’s unforgettable one-night stand.
I left it with more than orgasms and a pleasant memory–namely, his wallet.
Now he’s staring me down like I’m the dirt under his Italian loafers, and I’m supposed to take it.
But the thing about being Judith “Jude” Humphry is I have nothing to lose.
Heir to a stack of medical bills and a tattered couch.
When he looks at me from across the room, I see the glint in his eyes, and that makes us rivals.
He knows it.
So do I.
Every day in the newsroom is a battle.
Every night in his bed, war.
But it’s my heart at stake, and I fear I’ll be raising the white flag.

Dirty Headlines was a sexy, angsty, entertaining, and drama-filled standalone enemies-to-lovers office romance, and I absolutely loved it! Dirty Headlines was unlike anything L.J. Shen has written before, and she completely blew me away with the phenomenal storyline and characters she created. Dirty Headlines has been one of my top favorite books from her so far, and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next!
The storyline was intriguing and addicting and unlike anything I’ve read before. L.J. Shen took me on a wild and riveting ride in Dirty Headlines, and I was hooked from beginning to end. The plot was full of shocking twists and turns, especially towards the end, and she completely blew my mind with this steamy, angsty, and captivating enemies-to-lovers office romance. There were a few parts and aspects throughout that I didn’t like, but overall Dirty Headlines was an absolute MUST READ from L.J. Shen!
The characters, especially the main ones, were fantastic. Célian and Jude were amazing, and I immediately felt a connection with them. They captured my heart from the very beginning, and although Célian and Jude had their moments, I loved them with all of my heart. L.J. Shen is the queen of writing cocky and dominating alpha heroes that you hate to love, but fall head over heels for anyway. Célian Laurent was a moody, broody, cocky, and dominating alpha hero. He was abrasive, blunt, and often rude, but had so many more layers than what he showed on the surface. Judith “Jude” Humphry was a strong-willed, quirky, sweet, and independent heroine, and I loved her so much. She might be my favorite heroine from L.J. Shen so far. The dynamic between Célian and Jude was excellent, and I loved the push and pull of their relationship. The enemies-to-lovers/office romance aspect was fantastic, and I couldn’t get enough. Célian and Jude’s chemistry was off-the-charts smoking HOT, and they definitely brought the heat, both in the bedroom and the boardroom. I loved their personalities, and although Célian’s attitude and demeanor was questionable at times, I loved him and Jude so much. The banter, both positive and negative, between Célian and Jude was explosive and nothing short of entertaining, and I enjoyed almost every interaction they had together. It wasn’t always sunshine and rainbows, far from it actually, but I loved going on their journey with them. It was definitely an epic and memorable ride, and I was so freaking happy with the conclusion.
Dirty Headlines was another sexy, addicting, angst-ridden, and entertaining masterpiece from L.J. Shen, and I would HIGHLY recommend it! Dirty Headlines has been one of her best works, if not THE best, to date, and I was ecstatic with the outcome to Célian and Jude’s story. No one writes contemporary romance and as*hole heroes like L.J. Shen, and if you haven’t checked out her books yet, I implore you to do so!
