Now #1 Amazon Bestseller in the entire Amazon store
“Everyone needs to read this book. I’m certain you won’t feel a single regret. ” – Harloe Rae, USA Today Bestselling author
From USA Today and Washington Post bestselling author L.J. Shen comes a new, standalone romance about first loves, betrayal and loss.
Not all love stories are written the same way. Ours had torn chapters, missing paragraphs, and a bittersweet ending.
Luna Rexroth is everyone’s favorite wallflower.
Sweet.
Caring.
Charitable.
Quiet.
Fake.
Underneath the meek, tomboy exterior everyone loves (yet pities) is a girl who knows exactly what, and who, she wants—namely, the boy from the treehouse who taught her how to curse in sign language.
Who taught her how to laugh.
To live.
To love.
Knight Cole is everyone’s favorite football hero.
Gorgeous.
Athletic.
Rugged.
Popular.
Liar.
This daredevil hell-raiser could knock you up with his gaze alone, but he only has eyes for the girl across the street: Luna.
But Luna is not who she used to be. She doesn’t need his protection anymore.
When life throws a curveball at All Saints’ golden boy, he’s forced to realize not all knights are heroes.
Sometimes, the greatest love stories flourish in tragedy.

NO SPOILERS!
Broken Knight was an angsty, steamy, emotional roller coaster that I almost didn’t survive. L.J. Shen ripped my heart out and nearly broke me with Knight and Luna’s story, but little by little, chapter by chapter, piece by piece, she slowly stitched it back together.
The storyline took me by surprise. My thoughts, feelings, and emotions were all over the place while reading Broken Knight, and I still don’t have a handle on them even after reaching The End. The plot wasn’t one I expected, and I was shocked by some of the events that happened. It was tragic, angsty, emotional, and heartbreaking most of the time, but there were instances of hope, healing, and happiness every now and then. The last few chapters were by far my favorite, and they healed my broken heart.
The characters were intriguing, to say the least. Knight and Luna were broken, complex characters, and their story was anything but easy, but I loved them. I might not have always liked what they did or didn’t do, but I still loved them and was rooting for them. I loved Knight and Luna’s ride or die friendship/relationship, and the close bond they had shared since childhood. They were best friends, but their chemistry was smoking HOT. It will definitely steam up your Kindle. ;) Knight and Luna’s journey was unlike any other I’ve read, and I certainly won’t forget it anytime soon.
L.J. Shen crafted one of the most angsty and emotional standalone romances I’ve ever read with Broken Knight, and while it nearly killed me, I would definitely recommend it. The All Saints High series has taken me on a wild ride, and I can’t wait to finally read Vaughn Spencer’s story in Angry God!
