New Release + Review – Hard Luck (Trophy Boyfriends, #4) by Sara Ney

SOME GIRLS HAVE ALL THE LUCK
Unfortunately, I am not one of those girls. Not when I lost my apartment because my roommate let the lease lapse while I was traveling for work. Not when my brothers keep finding love and my mother keeps reminding me I’m still single. Not after a one-night stand during my older brother’s wedding has me waking up pregnant.

I have to keep it a secret—from him, and my family. I sure can’t tell my brother his teammate, Mateo Jose Espinoza, is the man I slept with. Confident, funny, Mateo…

A GUY CAN’T CATCH A BREAK
Just when I thought I’d found the girl of my dreams, she ghosts me. Worse? Her brother refuses to give me her number, and my calls to her office go straight to voicemail. I thought I was a catch; professional athlete, charming, raised with six sisters—I’m a guy who knows his way to a woman’s heart! What reason could she possibly have for avoiding me?

When I finally catch up to True Wallace, I’m going to get the answer.

Review

NO SPOILERS!

Hard Luck was by far one of the BEST and FUNNIEST romances Sara Ney has written, and I absolutely loved True and Mateo’s story!

The storyline was super entertaining. I’m a huge fan of the sports romance and accidental pregnancy tropes, so this one was right up my alley. I honestly don’t know how Ney comes up with some of this stuff, but her humor gives me life and I was literally laughing my butt off from start to finish. So many laughs, so many smiles, so much joy. Hard Luck was a MUST READ and you need it in your life. Period.

The characters were FANTASTIC. I fell head over heels for True and Mateo. They were incredibly lovable and so much fun. I felt a connection with them right off the bat—pun intended, LOL—and loved experiencing their hilarious, swoony, and entertaining journey alongside them. I also absolutely LOVED the secondary characters. Oh my gosh, talk about a riot. True and Mateo’s families were priceless and provided infinite entertainment. I laughed out loud so many times, I lost count. JUST. SO. FUNNY.

Hard Luck was an absolute MUST READ standalone romantic comedy from Sara Ney, and you definitely don’t want to miss out on True and Mateo’s sexy, hilarious, and swoon-worthy story!

Proofread for author.
