Slap Shot Surprise was absolute perfection in every way, and I couldn’t have loved Joe and Mabel’s story more!
Super steamy, funny, swoony, romantic, emotional, and entertaining, it was my favorite standalone in the Cherry Tree Harbor series—as well as my favorite Melanie Harlow book to date—and everything I hoped it’d be and so much more. I was ecstatic that MH decided to write Mabel’s book and couldn’t have chosen a better story and outcome for her. Mabel and Joe are two of my favorite characters that she has written thus far, and I loved every single moment of their journey to happily ever after, especially the last few chapters.
Melanie Harlow truly outdid herself with Slap Shot Surprise, and it was absolutely chef’s kiss all around and is not to be missed!
