First impressions are extremely important, and you usually only get one chance to make a great one. If you are ready to publish, or have already published, your novel or novella and are looking for an extra pair of eagle eyes to do a final once-over on your manuscript, you’ve come to the right person.
Proofreading is a passion of mine, and I love helping authors perfect and polish their manuscripts. I pride myself in being personable, professional, and providing a thorough and affordable line-by-line proofing in a timely and efficient manner. I’m only human, but strive for perfection in my work and pay great attention to detail. I’m a meticulous proofreader that will read over your manuscript with a fine-tooth comb to find any typographical, grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors that may be present. I proofread post-edit and previously published works of fiction. I use the Merriam-Webster Dictionary and other online resources for reference, unless directed otherwise.
Please ensure your manuscript has already been completely edited before sending it to me for proofreading. I reserve the right to return a manuscript if there are editing issues.
What I Do
I’m a meticulous proofreader that will do one thorough line-by-line read-through of your manuscript to look for all of the following errors:
- Incorrect/Missing/Extra Words
- Chapter Header Inaccuracies
- Tense Issues
I accept manuscripts as a Microsoft Word Document or Google Doc.
Microsoft Word with Track Changes and comments (Preferred Method)
I use Microsoft Word with Track Changes and comments to mark/correct any errors I may come across in your manuscript. That way it will be easier for you to review and accept or reject any changes you may need to make before publication.
Google Docs with suggestions and comments
I also use Google Docs with suggestions and comments to mark/correct any errors I may come across in your manuscript. That way it will be easier for you to review and accept or reject any changes you may need to make before publication.
No manuscript is one hundred perfect, so I highly encourage you to carefully review the final manuscript before publishing. No changes are made to your manuscript without your final approval.

Dates are flexible as I understand life happens and the writing/editing process doesn’t always go as planned.
