 ~Synopsis~

Maggie is a seventeen-year-old girl who’s had a bad year. She was smart and on track, but then her mom left, her dad is depressed, she’s graduating – barely – and her boyfriend of almost three years dumped her for a college football scholarship. Lately she thinks life is all about hanging on by a thread and is gripping tight with everything she has.

Then she saves the life of Caleb and instantly knows there’s something about him that’s intriguing. But things change when they touch, sparks ignite. Literally.

They imprint with each other and she sees their future life together flash before her eyes. She learns that not only is she his soul mate, and can feel his heartbeat in her chest, but there is a whole other world of people with gifts and abilities that she never knew existed. She herself is experiencing supernatural changes unlike anything she’s ever felt before and she needs the touch of his skin to survive.

Now, not only has her dad come out of his depression to be a father again, and a pain as well, but Caleb’s enemies know he’s imprinted and are after Maggie to stop them both from gaining their abilities and take her from him.

Can Caleb save her or will they be forced to live without each other after just finding one another?

*No Spoilers, I Promise*

“Significance” was a pure and utter delight to read, and I am so incredibly grateful to have found this hidden gem. The storyline, characters, and paranormal aspect were phenomenal and kept me riveted throughout. It truly was an amazing novel and a wonderful way to start off the Significance Series!

The storyline was extremely interesting and unique, and captivated me from the very beginning. There was not one moment where I wasn’t on the edge of my seat wondering what could possibly happen next. I was completely fascinated by all that happened, and there was a LOT. It was definitely well worth the read, and for FREE no less. This was definitely the kind of novel I enjoy reading, and it had everything I could ever want in a paranormal romance novel.

All of the characters were exceptional and I absolutely fell in love with Maggie, Caleb, and his entire family – maybe with the exception of Kyle. You’ll understand what I mean when you read it. Maggie was mature, intelligent, independent, and so adorably caring and sweet that you couldn’t help but fall in love with her from the very beginning. She was definitely one of those heroines that every reader loves to read about. Caleb was one of those heroes that every girl dreams about and wishes were real, or at the very least one they could find in real life. He was sincere, loving, generous, considerate, passionate, extremely handsome, and in my personal opinion, the perfect package. Caleb was so utterly dreamy and swoon-worthy, it wasn’t even funny. All I can say is that Maggie is a very lucky young woman! I also loved and adored the relationships between all of the Jacobson clan (Caleb’s family). Everyone truly loved each other and made every effort they could to get along and spend time with one another. I honestly fell in love with all of them and can’t wait to read more of their story in the books to come!

The paranormal aspect of the book was so incredibly unique and definitely wasn’t something I had ever read before. It completely ensnared me and in a very good way. Everything was interesting and there was not one moment where I got bored. I was completely entertained throughout and was so sad when I was finished, only because I wanted to keep reading more of the story. But I didn’t have anything to worry about since the second novel, “Accordance,” had already been released, which made me extremely happy.  :)

I truly can’t sing enough praises for “Significance” and it is most definitely in my new top favorite novels list. I loved how it included a supernatural twist, romance, humor, action and suspense, and of course drama. Shelly Crane is an exceptionally talented and creative author who has created an extraordinary young adult novel that everyone simply must read!
