~Synopsis~
Pixie and Levi haven’t spoken in nearly a year when they find themselves working―and living―at the same inn in the middle of nowhere. Once upon a time, they were childhood friends. But that was before everything went to hell. And now things are… awkward.
All they want to do is avoid each other, and their past, for as long as possible. But now that they’re forced to share a bathroom, and therefore a shower, keeping their distance from one another becomes less difficult than keeping their hands off each other. Welcome to the hallway of awkward tension and sexual frustration, folks. Get comfy. It’s going to be a long summer.

“Best Kind of Broken” was truly amazing and a beautiful story about love, friendship, loss, grief, guilt, hope, healing, and happiness, among others. The storyline and characters had me from the beginning, and captivated me until the very end. It was a wonderful and incredible journey, and I am so glad that I was a part of it.
The storyline was phenomenal and extremely enticing. “Best Kind of Broken” was told in the present tense, and I loved that it was from both Pixie and Levi’s point of view. It definitely enhanced the story and added more richness, detail, and depth to the book that made it more meaningful. I also loved the bonus deleted scene in the back from Levi’s point of view; it was amazing and I’m so glad that it was incorporated. I loved Chelsea Fine’s writing style as well; it was so easy to read and follow. She had me hooked from the very first page, and kept me that way until the very last one. She has an extraordinary talent, and definitely knows how to write a fascinating and entertaining book. She is most definitely one of my new top favorite authors. I am just so glad that she decided to turn “Best Kind of Broken” from a 30,000 word novella into the absolutely phenomenal story that it is now. I am so totally and completely in love with the Finding Fate series and cannot wait to read the rest!
I immediately fell in love with Pixie and Levi and felt an instant connection with them, even though I had never experienced what they had gone through. It was so easy to adapt to their world and I felt like I was living everything they were going through right along with them. They were amazing characters and I thought they were perfect for each other. The two of them had to endure and cope with so much grief and heartache from both their past and present, but they were able to get through it with each other, and in the end, everything turned wonderfully. I truly couldn’t have asked for better main characters. Chelsea Fine did an unbelievably amazing job writing Pixie and Levi’s story, and although it could be quite frustrating at times, I thought the conclusion more than made up for it. It was absolutely breathtaking and warmed my heart completely. It made me so happy that I couldn’t stop smiling for a very long time afterwards.
Many of the secondary characters were also wonderful and could be quite entertaining at times, especially Pixie’s friend, Jenna, and Levi’s friend, Zack. They definitely added a little something extra to the story and made it better. I’m excited to read a few of their stories in the books to come!
I honestly cannot sing enough praises for “Best Kind of Broken” and Chelsea Fine. They both took my breath away and made me enjoy reading every single moment of this incredible novel. I was completely addicted and entertained throughout. Many parts of the story broke my heart and left me frustrated at times, but I wouldn’t change one moment of it, nor do I regret reading it. Pixie and Levi’s story was truly incredible and definitely one everyone should read; you could learn many life lessons that would be very beneficial to the future. It will be a story I will hold near and dear to my heart for quite some time, I can tell you that. I am just so happy that I own a copy so I can go back and re-read it whenever I want. : ) Please don’t miss out on “Best Kind of Broken” and the rest of the Finding Fate series. I can honestly guarantee you will absolutely not regret it!
