~Synopsis~

ONCE BURNED Sadie Howard never dates a guy more than once – but Fate has other plans for her when it comes to Aiden Downey, the one that got away. Aiden loved her, left her, and broke her heart. Yet suddenly she’s bumping into him at every turn, driven to distraction by his wicked grin and rock-hard body. Now she can’t resist finishing what they started – as long as she doesn’t let herself fall in love…

TWICE AS TEMPTING Aiden Downey threw away the best thing he ever had when he let Sadie go, and now he’s determined to win back the woman he’s always wanted. Sadie agrees to let him into her life – and her bed – as long as there are no strings attached. But Aiden’s not about to make the same mistake again. Can he convince her to take a second chance on a once-in-a-lifetime love?

~Review~

I freaking loved everything about “Hard to Handle,” and thought it was even better than the first book in the Love in the Balance series – and that’s saying something. I loved Jessica Lemmon’s writing style and could tell she had improved even more from her debut novel, “Tempting the Billionaire.” Aiden and Sadie were amazing and relatable main characters, and I instantly fell in love with them from the very beginning. They made a perfect couple, and I loved their chemistry together. They both had wonderful personalities that made it hard not to fall in love with them. Aiden was the perfect package, both inside and out. With his Adonis-like good looks and heart of gold, he completely stole my heart. Sadie was amazing as well. She put on a tough and independent exterior, but was also vulnerable and insecure underneath. Aiden and Sadie balanced each other out well, and I was so incredibly happy with the conclusion to their story; it made me smile from ear to ear. I also loved the fact that the book was told from both Aiden and Sadie’s POV. I loved delving into each of their minds to see what they were thinking and feeling. It gave the story more depth and meaning, and I really loved that aspect about it. It was an amazing and exciting journey being able to read Aiden and Sadie’s story; it was definitely memorable and one I will never soon forget. I also immensely enjoyed getting a glimpse of what was happening with Shane and Crickitt. I honestly loved “Hard to Handle” with every fiber of my being, and cannot sing enough praises for it. I truly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional contemporary romance. I am super excited to get started on the next installment, “The Millionaire Affair,” about Landon Downey! Gotta love them Downey brothers ;)
