~Synopsis~

For political reporter Liz Dougherty, election day—a day of looking toward the future and saying goodbye to the past—seems like a fitting time to start a new relationship. But feelings for her former flame still linger…

The sexy second book in bestselling author K.A. Linde’s Record series decides whether it’s better to pick up the pieces and move on…or to pick up right where you left off.

~Review~

Oh my goodness, did “On the Record” ever take me on a roller coaster ride of emotions! I think I’m still reeling from some of them. I really enjoyed reading this sequel and thought it was amazing, especially the last twenty percent or so. I loved Brady and Liz, especially when they were together. Those two had undeniable chemistry and attraction to one another, and to be honest, they were completely meant to be. I was rooting for them all the way, and will continue to do so. I did hate that it was a love triangle, but man oh man, did the last part of the book make up for it! I once again loved that the book was told from Liz’s POV, all except for the last chapter, which was from Brady’s. I loved being able to get into his mind and see how he was feeling and dealing with everything going on. I loved these two characters and cannot wait to see how their story ends in “For the Record,” which I will be starting immediately after writing this review. Kudos to the author, K.A. Linde, for creating this wonderful Record Series. It’s honestly addicting!
