Review

I have read four books by Lauren Blakely so far, and Chase and Josie’s story in Full Package has definitely been my favorite! I absolutely loved this romantic comedy, and I thought Lauren did an excellent job writing it. Chase and Josie were extremely likable and relatable characters and I loved reading every single page of their story. Chase and Josie had a wonderful tight-knit relationship, and I loved how they progressed from best friends to something infinitely more intimate and romantic. I loved how close and comfortable they were with each other, and I loved the banter between them. I loved reading this book solely from Chase’s perspective, but I also enjoyed the few sneak peeks into Josie’s thoughts and feelings as well. Since Josie was a baker, I really liked that Lauren incorporated several dessert recipes throughout. I have a major sweet tooth and all of them sounded super delicious. The secondary characters were wonderful as well and I loved getting to see many familiar couples from the previous three standalone novels in this series.

   I truly did love reading every single word of Full Package, and I was beyond thrilled with the conclusion to Chase and Josie’s story. It was absolutely perfect and made me extremely happy for both of them. Full Package will definitely not be my last Lauren Blakely novel, and I cannot wait to read more of her books in the future, starting with Max’s book, Joy Ride!
