Synopsis
I was born into British aristocracy, but I’ve made my fortune in Manhattan. New York is now my kingdom.
Back in Britain my family are fighting over who’s the next Duke of Fairfax. The rules say it’s me–if I’m married. It’s not a trade-off worth making. I could never limit myself to just one woman.
Or so I thought until my world is turned upside down. Now, the only way I can save the empire I built is to inherit the title I’ve never wanted– so I need a wife.
To take my mind off business I need a night that’s all pleasure. I need to bury myself in a stranger.
The skim of Scarlett King’s hair over my body as she bends over . . .
The scrape of her nails across my chest as she screams my name . . .
The bite of her teeth on my shoulder just as we both reach the edge . . .
It all helps me forget.
I just didn’t bargain on finding my one night stand across the boardroom table the next day.
She might be my latest conquest but I have a feeling Scarlett King might just conquer me.
A sexy, standalone romance.

Review
NO SPOILERS!
Duke of Manhattan was brilliant and I absolutely loved Ryder and Scarlett’s story! This was my first Louise Bay novel and it will certainly not be the last. She completely blew me away with her amazing writing style and the truly phenomenal storyline and characters. Duke of Manhattan has definitely been my absolute top favorite read of 2017 so far!
Ryder and Scarlett were excellent characters and I immediately fell in love with them. They were extremely likable and relatable and I can’t even remember the last time I connected with characters as deeply as I did with these two. I was riveted by them from the very beginning and couldn’t get enough. I loved their personalities and thought they suited each other perfectly. Ryder was the epitome of Alpha male. He was incredibly sweet, sexy, swoon-worthy, and the total package. Plus he was British and a Duke! ;) I truly loved his character and was definitely jealous of Scarlett on more than one occasion. Scarlett was kind, strong and independent, and I loved that she wasn’t afraid to speak her mind. She was tough yet vulnerable, and I really connected with her.
Ryder and Scarlett’s relationship certainly started out unconventionally, but I loved how it progressed throughout and eventually turned into something infinitely more meaningful and romantic. I really enjoyed the concept of the story and I loved reading it from both Ryder and Scarlett’s perspectives. Their chemistry together was scorching hot and there was never a shortage of sexy and steamy moments. Louise bay definitely knows how to write the perfect contemporary romance with every aspect a reader could ever hope for, and I am truly looking forward to reading so many more of her amazing books in the future.
Duke of Manhattan was highly entertaining, addicting and romantic, and I loved everything about it. I absolutely love epilogues and I honestly couldn’t have been happier with the conclusion to Ryder and Scarlett’s story. These characters were truly memorable and will forever stay in my heart and mind. I very much look forward to returning to their unforgettable story over and over again for a very long time to come. If you haven’t one-clicked this amazing book yet, what the heck are you waiting for?!
