Book Review – Savage Prince (Savage Trilogy, #1) by Meghan March

Who knew things could get even darker and dirtier in New Orleans? New York Times bestselling author Meghan March introduces the Savage Prince of the city, the man you never want to meet.

I do what I want and who I want. I don’t follow anyone’s rules—even my own.
I knew I shouldn’t touch her, but it didn’t stop me.
Didn’t stop me the second time either. Only made me want a third.
My lifestyle suits the savage I am, and she doesn’t.
But Temperance Ransom is my newest addiction, and I’m nowhere near ready to quit her yet.
I’ll have her my way, even if it means dragging her into the darkness.
Hopefully it doesn’t kill us both.

Savage Prince is book one of the Savage Trilogy, set in the same world as Ruthless King, however you do not need to read the Mount Trilogy to devour this scandalously hot new story.

What the heck did I just read?! Seriously, I’m speechless. Savage Prince was nothing like I imagined, but everything I wanted and needed. It was a beyond sexy, mysterious, and intriguing start to the Savage Trilogy, and I absolutely loved it! The storyline and characters were amazing, and I loved Meghan March’s writing style. She is such a talented author, and I have dearly loved all of her books that I’ve read so far. I can’t wait to devour more, especially the rest of the Savage Trilogy!

The storyline was unlike anything I’ve read before, but I loved it all the same. Meghan March always surprises me with the unexpected, and all of her plot twists leave me reeling and craving for more. There were a few aspects that I wasn’t expecting in this book, but I really enjoyed them. Savage Prince was sexy and entertaining, and I can’t wait to find out what happens next in Iron Princess!

The characters were amazing. I absolutely loved Temperance and immediately felt a connection with her. She was sweet yet tough, dedicated, and hardworking, and I loved her personality and fascination with the naughtier side of New Orleans. I also loved the mystery hero. He was incredibly sexy, dark, and delicious, and it’s killing me not knowing who he really is yet, but the anticipation and suspense makes it all the better. The last chapter blew my mind, and I’m dying to read the next installment, Iron Princess. Most of the secondary characters were amazing as well, and I loved all of the familiar faces from previous books. It was wonderful to see some of them again, and I loved how they were incorporated into this story. The Savage Trilogy can definitely be read as a standalone series, but if you’ve read some of Meghan’s previous work (e.g., the Beneath series and Mount Trilogy), I think you’ll enjoy this book and trilogy even more.

Savage Prince was an incredibly sexy, intriguing, entertaining, and mind-blowing introduction to the Savage Trilogy, and I would HIGHLY recommend it! Meghan March did an amazing job with this book, and I’m so freaking excited to dive into book two, Iron Princess!

About Meghan March

New York Times, #1 Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author of over twenty novels, Meghan March has been known to wear camo face paint and tromp around in woods wearing mud-covered boots, all while sporting a perfect manicure. She’s also impulsive, easily entertained, and absolutely unapologetic about the fact that she loves to read and write smut. Her past lives include slinging auto parts, selling lingerie, making custom jewelry, and practicing corporate law. Writing books about dirty talking alpha males and the strong, sassy women who bring them to their knees is by far the most fabulous job she’s ever had.
