Pick Six was a fun, sexy, hilarious, and highly entertaining standalone romantic comedy, and I absolutely loved it! The storyline and characters were phenomenal, and I loved Max Monroe’s writing style and awesome sense of humor. Everything this amazing author duo writes is pure freaking gold, and I can’t help but fall in love with everything they create. Max Monroe continues to be my top favorite author, and I can’t wait to devour more from them, especially the rest of the Mavericks Tackle Love series!

   The storyline was amazing. Since I’ll read anything Max Monroe releases, I decided not to read the synopsis for Pick Six and went in blind. I knew that it was going to be about Sean Phillips, star wide receiver for the New York Mavericks, but I didn’t know the specifics about the plot or the heroine. I love American football, and basically any kind of sports romance, so I knew Pick Six was going to be a win, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The plot took me by surprise and was unlike anything I’d read before, at least in the sense that the heroine was a well-known vlogger doing a series featuring the New York Mavericks. I loved everything about Pick Six and was highly entertained and addicted from beginning to end. Max Monroe did a fantastic job with the second standalone in the Mavericks Tackle Love series, and I can’t wait to read the next one, Trick Play!

   The characters that Max Monroe create never disappoint, and I never fail to fall head over heels in love with them. Sean Phillips and Six Malone were amazing, and have been some of my favorite characters from this author duo so far. Sean and Six were pieces of work and two peas in a pod, and it was always an adventure with these two. They were confident and sometimes cocky, yet utterly fun and entertaining. I loved Sean and Six’s personalities and smoking hot chemistry together, and how their relationship progressed throughout. I loved reading the book from both Sean and Six’s point of view, and all of their banter and interactions with each other. There was never a dull moment when Sean and Six were around, and I loved every minute of it. There were some places where I would’ve loved a little more depth and detail, but otherwise I absolutely loved this book. Another aspect I loved about Pick Six was the great cast of secondary characters. I loved Sean’s Mavericks teammates, Six’s friends, and several others. They were an excellent and very entertaining addition to the story, and I loved them so much. Sean and Six’s story was a sexy and hilarious journey I won’t soon forget, and I absolutely loved the conclusion. It completely surprised me, but was truly perfect for them and made me very happy.

   Pick Six was another sexy, funny, and entertaining standalone romantic comedy winner from Max Monroe, and I would HIGHLY recommend it! Max Monroe did an amazing job with this book, and I was more than pleased with the outcome to Sean and Six’s story. The Mavericks Tackle Love series has been excellent so far, and I’m so excited to devour the next standalone, Trick Play!
