Book Review – Jock Row (Jock Hard, #1) by Sara Ney

40025502Synopsis

Scarlett is always the sensible one: The sober driver. The planner. The one holding your hair back while you’re worshiping the porcelain gods.

Week-after-week, she visits Jock Row with her friends—the universities hottest party scene and breeding ground for student athletes. And if keeping her friends out of trouble, and guys out of their pants, was a sport, she’d be the star athlete.

Being a well known jock-blocker gets her noticed for all the wrong reasons; just like that, she’s banned from Jock Row. NO GUY WANTS A GIRL AROUND WHO KEEPS THEIR JOCK FRIENDS FROM GETTING LAID.

“Rowdy” Wade is the hot shot short-stop for the universities baseball team—and the unlucky bastard who drew the short straw: keep little Miss Goody Two-Shoes out of the Baseball House.

But week-after-week Scarlett returns, determined to get inside.

Review

NO SPOILERS!

Jock Row was a fun, sweet, and sexy standalone new adult sports romance, and I really enjoyed it from start to finish! Sara Ney did a great job with the storyline and characters, and I really enjoyed her writing style and sense of humor. Jock Row was a fun and entertaining start to the Jock Hard series, and I’m looking forward to reading the next standalone, Jock Rule!

“Rowdy” Wade and Scarlett were amazing, and I loved them and their story so much. Rowdy and Scarlett have been two of my favorite characters from Sara Ney so far, and I loved their personalities and chemistry together. I loved reading the book from both Rowdy and Scarlett’s point of view, and all of their banter and interactions with each other. I also loved the friends-to-lovers aspect of their relationship, and how it progressed throughout. It was a little slow at times, and I would’ve loved more in certain areas, but otherwise I loved Jock Row from beginning to end. It was a fun, sexy, and easy read, and I was pleased with the conclusion to Rowdy and Scarlett’s story.

Jock Row was a sweet, sexy, funny, and entertaining standalone in Sara Ney’s new Jock Hard series, and I would definitely recommend it! Sara Ney did a fantastic job with Rowdy and Scarlett’s story, and while I would’ve loved a little more here and there, I was still satisfied with the outcome. Jock Row was a great introduction to the Jock Hard series, and I can’t wait to see what Sara Ney comes up with next in Jock Rule!
