WHAT. DID. I. JUST. READ?! Seriously, I’m almost speechless. I’m in an utter state of shock at the moment, and I’m not sure how to process everything. Cold was an insanely angsty, emotional, and suspenseful second installment in the Stone Cold Fox trilogy, and I absolutely loved it! The storyline and characters were even better this time around, and Max Monroe further solidified my love of their writing style and the amazing and unforgettable stories they continue to create. The second part of Levi and Ivy’s story was amazing from beginning to end, and it definitely left me craving for Fox, the third and final installment. I am wholeheartedly addicted to the Stone Cold Fox trilogy, and can’t wait to find out what happens next!

   The storyline in Cold was even more raw and riveting, and I couldn’t get enough. I was addicted from the first page to the last, and was dying for more when I finished. I expected the cliffhanger, but I in no way predicted that specific ending. I had some ideas of what might happen, but in this case I hated being semi-right about the events that took place at the end of Cold. It wasn’t what I wanted and broke my heart into a million little pieces, but it still left me craving book three, Fox.

   The characters have continued to blow me away, and I loved them even more in Cold. Levi and Ivy have ingrained themselves close to my heart, and although their story has been an emotional and sometimes heartbreaking journey, I couldn’t help but fall in love with everything. Okay, maybe not everything, but pretty darn close. There were a few instances and characters, especially in this book, that I didn’t like whatsoever, but at least it wasn’t enough to diminish my love of Levi and Ivy’s story. As I stated above, the ending of Cold shocked the ever-living crap out of me, and I can’t wait to get my hands on Fox next.

   Cold was an angsty, suspenseful, and very emotional sequel to Stone, and although it wasn’t always easy to read, I would HIGHLY recommend it and the rest of the Stone Cold Fox trilogy! Max Monroe has truly outdone themselves with Levi and Ivy’s story so far, and I can’t wait to read the conclusion in Fox!
