Piper Rayne did it again! Flirting with Fire was a sweet, sexy, funny, and swoon-worthy standalone romantic comedy, and I absolutely loved it! The storyline and characters this awesome writing duo created were amazing, and I loved them so much! Flirting with Fire has been one of my favorite rom-coms, if not THE favorite, from Piper Rayne so far, and it was a very promising start to the Blue Collar Brothers series!

   The storyline was fun and entertaining, but had some serious topics too. The concept of the plot and trope wasn’t new, but I loved Piper Rayne’s approach and spin on it. There were some twists and turns that made it a fun, fresh, and entertaining read, and left me wanting to know more. There were a few things that I didn’t like as much, but they weren’t enough to diminish my love of the story as a whole. Flirting with Fire made me laugh, swoon, and so much more, and it’s a definite MUST READ!

   The characters were excellent. Mauro Bianco and Madison “Maddie” Kelly were amazing, and I loved them and their story so much. Mauro and Maddie had very likable and lovable personalities, and I loved their red-hot chemistry together and how their relationship progressed throughout. I absolutely loved reading Flirting with Fire from both Mauro and Maddie’s point of view, and all of their banter and interactions with each other. I also loved most of the secondary characters. Mauro’s family (his brothers and parents) and Maddie’s best friends were a fantastic addition to the story, and they made it even more fun and entertaining. Mauro and Maddie’s story – while sexy, funny, and swoony – had some tough moments as well. However, all of the ups and downs were completely worth it in the end, and I was very happy with the conclusion. With the hints sprinkled throughout in Flirting with Fire, Piper Rayne definitely left me craving book two in the Blue Collar Brothers series, and I can’t wait to find out what happens next!

   Flirting with Fire was another sweet, sexy, and swoon-worthy rom-com hit from Piper Rayne, and I would HIGHLY recommend it! This author duo did a phenomenal job with Mauro and Maddie’s story, and it has been one of my favorites from them to date. I was very pleased with the outcome to Flirting with Fire, and can’t wait to dive in to Cristian and Vanessa’s story in Crushing on the Cop!
