Book Review – Priest (Priest, #1) by Sierra Simone

25507389Synopsis

There are many rules a priest can’t break.
A priest cannot marry. A priest cannot abandon his flock. A priest cannot forsake his God.

I’ve always been good at following rules.

Until she came.

My name is Tyler Anselm Bell. I’m twenty-nine years old. Six months ago, I broke my vow of celibacy on the altar of my own church, and God help me, I would do it again.

I am a priest and this is my confession.

***Priest is a standalone, full-length novel with an HEA.  For mature audiences only.***

Review

NO SPOILERS!

Priest was unlike anything I’ve ever read and left me completely speechless. I have almost no words for what this book made me think and feel. Sierra Simone blew me away with the storyline and characters, and I loved her writing style. I absolutely loved Father Bell (Tyler) and Poppy, and their story was one I’ll never forget. It was raw, steamy, filthy, emotional, entertaining, had all the feels, and was so much more than I originally expected. There were a few aspects throughout that I didn’t like as much, and therefore made me deduct a star, but overall I loved Tyler and Poppy’s story, and would highly recommend it. Sierra Simone’s brand of kink and romance was addicting and made my jaw drop, and I can’t wait to devour more from her!
