Review – Cheap Trick (Dawson Family, #4) by Emily Goodwin

45858412. sy475

A sexy new STANDALONE friends-to-lovers/fake relationship romance novel from bestselling author Emily Goodwin…

Danielle Cross has spent her whole life running from breakups and troubles. She’s never stayed in the same place for long…until now.

The moment she walks through the doors of Logan Dawson’s bar, there’s an attraction between them neither can deny. And when Danielle needs a date to her sister’s wedding, Logan is the man for the job. A cheap trick to fool her family is a small price to pay for a weekend in paradise.

Playing pretend is easy.
The hard part?
Trying to convince yourself the feelings are only fake.

NO SPOILERS!

Cheap Trick was a sweet, funny, sexy, and highly entertaining standalone friends-to-lovers romance, and it has been my favorite standalone in the Dawson Family series so far! The storyline and characters were incredible, and I loved Emily Goodwin’s writing style. Logan and Danielle were extremely lovable and relatable characters, and I connected with them so easily. I loved the friendship and insanely hot chemistry they shared together, and I loved every moment of their love story. Cheap Trick was a MUST READ contemporary romance, and I can’t wait to read the next standalone in the Dawson Family series, Fight Dirty!
