~Synopsis~
“History is on repeat, and things didn’t go so well the last time.”
Alexandria isn’t sure she’s going to make it to her eighteenth birthday – to her Awakening. A long-forgotten, fanatical order is out to kill her, and if the Council ever discovers what she did in the Catskills, she’s a goner… and so is Aiden.
If that’s not freaky enough, whenever Alex and Seth spend time “training” – which really is just Seth’s code word for some up-close and personal one-on-one time – she ends up with another mark of the Apollyon, which brings her one step closer to Awakening ahead of schedule. Awesome.
But as her birthday draws near, her entire world shatters with a startling revelation and she’s caught between love and Fate. One will do anything to protect her. One has been lying to her since the beginning. Once the gods have revealed themselves, unleashing their wrath, lives will be irrevocably changed… and destroyed.
Those left standing will discover if love is truly greater than Fate…

Holy Freaking Daimon Babies Everywhere!
“Deity” was absolutely PHENOMENAL and totally blew my mind – in a very good way. I am almost completely speechless, it was that good. It was such a roller coaster ride of emotions, but I loved Every. Single. Minute. Of. It! It completely rocked my world and made me sooo incredibly happy, it wasn’t even funny.
My gods, where to even begin… More and more stuff was revealed, and there were many pleasant, and some not-so-pleasant, surprises that literally almost shocked the living crap out of me. There were countless times where I was squealing and grinning from ear-to-ear, and others where I wanted to blow a gasket and punch someone in the face – hard. I know that isn’t a very nice thing to say, but that’s how I honestly felt. And I’m not going to feel bad about it. Seriously though, this book was most definitely my favorite installment thus far.
The characters were unbelievably amazing and put the awesome in awesome-sauce, maybe with the exception of Seth. I wasn’t too pleased with him in this novel. In fact, I was pretty freaking disappointed. I’m truly hoping my opinion of him changes for the better in the books to come. I have high hopes and my fingers crossed. I loved Alex and Aiden even more in this book, which I didn’t even think was possible. Although I don’t think they could ever disappoint me anyway, no matter what they did. Many instances between the two of them left me… well, totally and deliriously happy to say the least. There’s just something about forbidden romances that make you want them to happen all the more. And I was sooo not disappointed in that respect. Some of the secondary characters that I hadn’t cared for as much in the other books actually pleasantly surprised me in this novel and I was extremely happy about that.
“Deity” was so totally amazing and once again left me craving for the next installment ASAP. The entire Covenant Series is off-the-charts extraordinary and I truly cannot sing enough praises for it. All I can say is read it and you most certainly will not be disappointed even one tiny bit. I Promise!
