~Synopsis~

After everything, I’m no longer the same Katy. I’m different… And I’m not sure what that will mean in the end. When each step we take in discovering the truth puts us in the path of the secret organization responsible for torturing and testing hybrids, the more I realize there is no end to what I’m capable of. The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.

Together we’re stronger… and they know it.

~Review~

Holy smokes! Wow, that…that was intense, to say the least. In a good way, though. A very good way. “Opal” was freaking awesome, and in my opinion, the best installment in the Lux Series yet! I loved it from beginning to end, and it held my complete attention throughout. This is one of the many reasons why I love Jennifer L. Armentrout’s books so much; they are always a source of entertainment, and they continuously leave you craving for more. :)

My God, everything about this series – the storyline and characters – just keeps getting better and better with each book. Daemon and Katy were, as usual, off-the-charts amazing. I swear in every installment Daemon gets even more swoon-worthy. I mean seriously, why couldn’t he exist in real life?! That would be pretty dang awesome. I loved his character and how he acted all possessive and protective of Katy. I know some people might think otherwise, but I thought his intense feelings for her made it all the better. I loved that he called her Kitten – which he has all along – and that he wasn’t afraid to show his love and affection for her. He was so thoughtful, loving, and playful, and I seriously started to get jealous of Katy. No lie. Katy was awesome and I loved that she finally gave into her “wild monkey lust,” as she would call it, towards Daemon. I also loved that she came more into her own in this book. She was unbelievably strong-willed and definitely had the will to fight. Daemon and Katy were one of a kind, and I honestly couldn’t get enough of the two of them. They. Were. Perfect!

I am 100 percent addicted and in love with this thrilling, intriguing, and entertaining series! “Opal” was an extraordinary third installment that left me screaming my head off for the next installment, “Orgin,” at the end. All I can say is you seriously rocked my world with this one, JLA!
