~Synopsis~
From New York Times and USA Today Bestseller, Vi Keeland, comes a sexy new novel.
The first time I met Brody Easton was in the men’s locker room.
It was my first interview as a professional sportscaster.
The famed quarterback decided to bare all.
And by all, I don’t mean he told me any of his secrets.
No. The arrogant ass decided to drop his towel, just as I asked the first question. On camera.
The Super Bowl MVP quickly adopted a new hobby—screwing with me.
When I pushed back, he shifted from wanting to screw with me, to wanting to screw me.
But I don’t date players.
And it’s not because I’m one of the few women working in the world of professional football.
I’d date an athlete.
It’s the other kind of player I don’t date.
You know the type. Good looking, strong, cocky, always looking to get laid.
Brody Easton was the ultimate player.
Every woman wanted to be the one to change him.
But the truth was, all he needed was a girl worth changing for.
Turned out, I was that girl.
Simple right?
Let’s face it. It never is.
There’s a story between once upon a time and happily ever after…
And this one is ours.
~Review~
I am a HUGE football fan (Green Bay Packers!), so of course it was a no brainer for me to give The Baller: A Down and Dirty Football novel a try. And I was not disappointed. The Baller was excellently written, and Vi Keeland did a fantastic job with the storyline and characters. She managed to create a perfect balance of football, romance, and humor that made it interesting and entertaining to read. And even if you aren’t a football, or even a sports fan in general, you will still enjoy this book. I won’t give away any spoilers, but there were a few things I didn’t care for in the story. I also wished there had been more details in certain parts, but other than those two things it was a great read. I really enjoyed Brody and Delilah’s personalities and chemistry together, and their banter and relationship with each other was quite entertaining. There was quite a bit of humor throughout, which I enjoyed immensely, but also a lot of other emotions and feelings as well. There were a lot of up and down moments, but it was all worth it in the end. I loved that the story was told from both Brody and Delilah’s POV, but most of it was from Delilah’s. I really enjoyed the ending and thought the epilogue was a perfect way to end their story. I really loved Vi Keeland’s writing style, and there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I will definitely be reading more of her novels in the future!

~About the Author~
Vi Keeland
Vi Keeland is a native New Yorker with three children that occupy most of her free time, which she complains about often, but wouldn’t change for the world. She is a bookworm and has been known to read her kindle at stop lights, while styling her hair, cleaning, walking, during sporting events, and frequently while pretending to work. She is a boring attorney by day, and an exciting New York Times & USA Today Best Selling smut author by night!
Great review and I really enjoyed reading this book as well. It was funny, romantic and just the prefect book to make you happy. :D
