~Synopsis~
New York Times bestseller Elle Kennedy brings you a sexy new Off-Campus novel that can be read as a standalone…
She’s good at achieving her goals…
College senior Sabrina James has her whole future planned out: graduate from college, kick butt in law school, and land a high-paying job at a cutthroat firm. Her path to escaping her shameful past certainly doesn’t include a gorgeous hockey player who believes in love at first sight. One night of sizzling heat and surprising tenderness is all she’s willing to give John Tucker, but sometimes, one night is all it takes for your entire life to change.
But the game just got a whole lot more complicated
Tucker believes being a team player is as important as being the star. On the ice, he’s fine staying out of the spotlight, but when it comes to becoming a daddy at the age of twenty-two, he refuses to be a bench warmer. It doesn’t hurt that the soon-to-be mother of his child is beautiful, whip-smart, and keeps him on his toes. The problem is, Sabrina’s heart is locked up tight, and the fiery brunette is too stubborn to accept his help. If he wants a life with the woman of his dreams, he’ll have to convince her that some goals can only be made with an assist.

NO SPOILERS, I PROMISE!
The Goal was an amazing way to conclude the Off-Campus series by the incredibly talented, Elle Kennedy. Her writing style was excellent and I loved how she told everyone’s story in each book. I have truly enjoyed every single novel in this series, and I loved finally getting to read Tucker and Sabrina’s story.
Sabrina and Tucker were wonderful characters that were incredibly easy to like and relate to. I loved their personalities and chemistry together, and thought they made a perfect couple. When I first started this book, I was expecting Sabrina to be a snotty b**ch because of what Dean De Laurentis said about her in The Score, but she was the complete opposite. Sabrina was kind, caring, and a hard worker who could sometimes be stubbornly independent. Tucker was what every girl dreams of finding in a significant other. He was sweet, sexy, and a perfect gentleman. He was always thinking of others and treated Sabrina like a queen. I was slightly jealous of her because I honestly wanted Tucker for myself. ;) He was about as perfect as they come, and this is why fictional book boyfriends have ruined me for any man in real life. :( I also loved that Sabrina and Tucker’s story was told from both of their alternating POV. I am always a sucker for books that are written this way, and I was definitely pleased that The Goal was written in a dual perspective.
Sabrina and Tucker’s horde of friends were a great addition, and they definitely added more humor and entertainment to the story. It was awesome to see all of the couples from past books in this series as well, and some new faces too. There were a few secondary characters, namely Sabrina’s grandmother and stepfather, that I absolutely did not care for, but luckily they weren’t in the picture that often. I was also super excited that Elle announced there will be a spin-off novel that I truly hope will be between one of Tucker’s close friends, Colin Fitzgerald (aka Fitzy), and Dean’s sister Summer. Thank you for giving us something to look forward to reading, Elle!
I was truly hooked to The Goal from beginning to end, and I was so happy with the conclusion to both Sabrina and Tucker’s story, as well as to the Off-Campus series. I honestly cannot sing enough praises for this series, and I highly encourage anyone who loves New Adult/College Contemporary Romances that are full of heart, humor, and romance to give it a try. I sincerely doubt you’ll regret it!
