These Royals will ruin you…

From wharf fights and school brawls to crumbling lives inside glittery mansions, one guy tries to save himself.

Reed Royal has it all—looks, status, money. The girls at his elite prep school line up to date him, the guys want to be him, but Reed never gave a damn about anyone but his family until Ella Harper walked into his life.

What started off as burning resentment and the need to make his father’s new ward suffer turned into something else entirely—keep Ella close. Keep Ella safe. But when one foolish mistake drives her out of Reed’s arms and brings chaos to the Royal household, Reed’s entire world begins to fall apart around him.

Ella doesn’t want him anymore. She says they’ll only destroy each other.

She might be right.

Secrets. Betrayal. Enemies. It’s like nothing Reed has ever dealt with before, and if he’s going to win back his princess, he’ll need to prove himself Royally worthy.

Broken Prince was so much better and more interesting than Paper Princess, and I loved that this installment was told from both Reed and Ella’s POV! The storyline and characters had me riveted from beginning to end, and I honestly had no clue what was going to happen next. It was definitely an emotional roller coaster, to say the least.

Reed and Ella were a lot more likable and relatable in this book, and I enjoyed Easton and the other Royals as well. There was certainly no shortage of drama that Reed, Ella, and the rest of the Royals had to deal with, both family matters and at school. After reading Broken Prince, I am so freaking glad I’m not in high school anymore. If I had to deal with any of the rotten people like the kids from Astor Park, I would most likely be in detention every single day. Not even joking. I don’t put up with crap of any kind, and I’m so glad that Reed and Ella didn’t either. They might not have always gone about it in the best way, but they still stood up for themselves and other people they cared about.

I truly enjoyed Erin Watt’s writing style as well. It was simple and to the point, but the way the author told the story really held my interest throughout the entire novel. There was plenty of drama to go around, but I loved how Erin Watt  wove tons of humor, sarcasm, and romance into the story as well. The cliffhanger ending, which I knew the book would have, was a killer and definitely not one I saw coming. With that being said, I cannot wait to read Twisted Palace – the final installment in the Royals series!
