Synopsis

These Royals will ruin you…

From mortal enemies to unexpected allies, two teenagers try to protect everything that matters most.

Ella Harper has met every challenge that life has thrown her way. She’s tough, resilient, and willing to do whatever it takes to defend the people she loves, but the challenge of a long-lost father and a boyfriend whose life is on the line might be too much for even Ella to overcome.

Reed Royal has a quick temper and even faster fists. But his tendency to meet every obstacle with violence has finally caught up with him. If he wants to save himself and the girl he loves, he’ll need to rise above his tortured past and tarnished reputation.

No one believes Ella can survive the Royals. Everyone is sure Reed will destroy them all.

They may be right.

With everything and everyone conspiring to keep them apart, Ella and Reed must find a way to beat the law, save their families, and unravel all the secrets in their Twisted Palace.

Review

Twisted Palace was an epic finale to The Royals series and I was pleasantly surprised with the conclusion. The characters were as amazing as ever, the storyline had me guessing at every turn, and it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It was definitely an emotional roller coaster, but I was so glad that I went on this entertaining – and yes, sometimes frustrating – ride with Ella and all of the Royals. I loved Erin Watt’s writing style and the way the two author’s wove just the right amount of romance, drama, suspense, and humor throughout the book. Twisted Palace was probably my favorite installment in the series, and I once again loved reading the story from both Reed and Ella’s POV. It was most certainly an interesting adventure and I am so glad that I decided to read it and go on this final journey with them. Reed and Ella were great characters in this series, and although they both had their good and bad moments from time to time, I really enjoyed reading their story. I loved Reed’s caring and protective nature towards Ella and his family, as well as Ella’s confidence and independence. They were a perfect match for each other and I was glad how things worked out for them in the end. I was really happy with the conclusion, even though I would have loved if it had been a little longer and farther in the future. However, the story still ended wonderfully and I was happy for everyone. Erin Watt did an amazing job with this series, especially the final book, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled with the outcome for everyone involved!
