Book Review – Beneath the Truth (Beneath, #7) by Meghan March

35381571Synopsis

From New York Times bestselling author Meghan March, comes the final sexy standalone set in the Beneath world of New Orleans.

I used to believe there were lines in life you don’t cross.
Don’t lie. Don’t cheat. Don’t steal.
Until I learned people don’t always practice what they preach.
I turned in my badge and gun and walked away from everything.
Then I got the call no one wants, and I’m back in New Orleans.
What I don’t expect is for her to be here too.
Another line you don’t cross?
Don’t touch your best friend’s little sister.
She’s always been off-limits.
Too bad I don’t follow the rules anymore.

***May absolutely be read as a standalone!***

Review

NO SPOILERS!

Beneath the Truth was a sexy, thrilling, dangerous, and addicting standalone in the Beneath series, and I absolutely loved it! The storyline and characters were phenomenal, and I loved Meghan March’s writing style. She completely blew me away with Rhett and Ariel’s story, and I honestly loved it with all of my heart!

Rhett Hennessey and Ariel Sampson were phenomenal, and I loved them and their story so freaking much. I loved their personalities and red-hot chemistry together, and how their relationship progressed throughout. I loved reading the book from both Rhett and Ariel’s POV, and all of their banter and interactions with each other. Rhett and Ariel were some of my favorite characters ever, and I loved them with all of my heart and soul. Rhett was a sexy, protective, and loyal Alpha male, and I loved him dearly. Ariel was a sweet, smart, sassy, and badass woman whom I also loved dearly. They were both amazing characters, and I won’t forget them and their story anytime soon. I have honestly never been a huge fan of romantic suspense before, but Beneath the Truth and Meghan March completely changed my mind. I absolutely loved this book and was completely addicted and on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I truly couldn’t get enough of Rhett, Ariel, and their story. Meghan March did a phenomenal job with every single aspect of this book, and I was utterly blown away by everything. I loved all of the twists and turns and was constantly guessing what might happen next. As a reader, I always love to be surprised, and Beneath the Truth didn’t disappoint in the slightest. It was sexy, thrilling, and entertaining from start to finish, and I absolutely loved the conclusion to Rhett and Ariel’s story. Even though I didn’t read the previous six books in the Beneath series, I loved how the author ended it for every couple, and I know fans of the series that haven’t read Beneath the Truth yet will love it too.

Beneath the Truth was a sexy, suspenseful, addicting, and absolute MUST READ standalone in the Beneath series, and I would HIGHLY recommend it! Meghan March did an excellent job with this book, and I was so freaking happy with the outcome to Rhett and Ariel’s story. I’ve only read two books from Meghan March so far, but I absolutely loved them and can’t wait to devour more, especially the Mount and Savage trilogies!

About the Author

Meghan March

A New York Times, #1 Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author of over twenty novels, Meghan March has been known to wear camo face paint and tromp around in woods wearing mud-covered boots, all while sporting a perfect manicure. She’s also impulsive, easily entertained, and absolutely unapologetic about the fact that she loves to read and write smut. Her past lives include slinging auto parts, selling lingerie, making custom jewelry, and practicing corporate law. Writing books about dirty talking alpha males and the strong, sassy women who bring them to their knees is by far the most fabulous job she’s ever had.
