What He Never Knew was a beautiful, breathtaking, powerful, moving, and emotional love story that I absolutely loved with all of my heart and soul! The storyline and characters simply blew me away, and I was left in awe of Kandi Steiner’s talent. What He Never Knew has hands down been Kandi Steiner’s BEST novel to date, and I guarantee you’ll fall in love with it just as much as I did!
The storyline wasn’t what I originally expected for Reese and Sarah’s story, but I loved it nonetheless. I will warn you, What He Never Knew does contain subject matter that may be a trigger for some readers, especially women. It was sometimes difficult to read, but the journey was ultimately very worth it in the end. Kandi Steiner’s storytelling talent is a true gift from God, and I’m so glad that she shares it with all of us. Her passion, drive, and strength poured onto the pages of Reese and Sarah’s story, and I was captivated and enthralled from beginning to end. I was wholly entranced by Steiner’s prose, and never wanted the book to end. Kandi Steiner is an extraordinary artist that continues to hone her craft into some of the best romances I’ve ever had the pleasure to read. What He Never Knew was a true masterpiece of contemporary romance, I would HIGHLY recommend it!
The characters were absolutely PHENOMENAL. Reese Walker and Sarah Henderson completely stole my heart, and I fell head over heels in love with them and their unforgettable story. Reese and Sarah, despite the sixteen year age difference, were exquisite together. I loved their personalities, sizzling chemistry and deep connection together, and how their relationship progressed throughout. I loved reading the story from Reese and Sarah’s point of view, and all of their banter and interactions with each other. Reese and Sarah were a match made in heaven, and the sixteen year age gap between them was a complete non-issue. Sarah was very mature for her age, and the deep, special, and meaningful bond she shared with Reese was pure magic. I was envious of Reese and Sarah’s relationship, but honestly couldn’t have been happier for them. Reese and Sarah’s journey was anything but easy, and it dealt with a difficult yet very important topic, but every single high and low moment was completely worth it in the end. The conclusion was absolutely perfect and more than I ever dreamed possible.
What Ne Never Knew was a MASTERPIECE of contemporary romance, and hands down Kandi Steiner’s BEST novel to date! Words can’t describe how much I loved these characters and this story, and I feel like what I’ve written so far in this review is still inadequate for how truly breathtaking and unputdownable What He Never Knew was. Kandi Steiner wove a tale so beautiful and powerful and moving that I had no other choice but to fall in love and be captured by everything. She blew me away with Reese and Sarah’s beautiful, emotional, and breathtaking story, and I would HIGHLY recommend it! Kandi Steiner continues to be a TOP FAVORITE author, and I am dying to devour whatever she releases next!

Kandi Steiner is a bestselling author and whiskey connoisseur living in Tampa, FL.
