BOOK ONE
SYNOPSIS
I have a long history of dating the wrong men.
You know the ones I’m talking about.
The beautiful, charming guys who are quite literally too good to be true.
The ones who are impulsive in love and prefer short flings over long-term relationships.
I’m talking about the jerks.
The guys who taste so good, but are so very bad.
After going through the most ridiculous breakup in the history of breakups, I thought I’d learned my lesson. I officially put myself into jerk rehab and committed to changing my ways.
But, let’s be real here, love is never that easy.
Especially when an arrogant, charming, he-devil of a sexy alpha man gets involved.
Aussie accent.
Tanned skin.
Muscular, surfer bod.
Gorgeous brown eyes.
And the kind of sexy smile that brings women to their knees.
Oh, did I mention that he’s also my best friend’s brother?
Yeah. This story, my story, it’s a real doozy you guys.
The day I stopped falling for jerks, I met Oliver Arsen—the biggest jerk of all.

The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks was a unique, funny, and charming start to the Jerk Duet by Max Monroe. I really enjoyed the first part of Ollie and Lucky’s story, however, something was missing that would’ve made it a five-star read for me. The storyline and characters were unique, fun, and interesting, but the plot was a little slow at times, and I had a hard time getting into it. Even though The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks hasn’t been my favorite book from Max Monroe so far, they still did a great job, and I’m curious to see how Ollie and Lucky’s story concludes in The Day the Jerk Started Falling.

BOOK TWO
SYNOPSIS
My name is Oliver Arsen, but my mates call me Ollie.
I live hard and love harder, and it’s love that usually gets me in the most trouble.
According to the greater population, I’m the ultimate jerk.
My affection tends to be short-lived—a quality I’ve been assured multiple times by the fairer sex isn’t becoming—and the leaving part of loving and leaving has always come natural.
At least, it used to.
Until her.
Luciana Wright.
She’s an American bombshell and my sister’s best friend—a woman so wrong for
me, it’s written in the waves.
And she’s the reason we’re all here.
The reason I have to go back to explain how it all went wrong.
To the day the jerk started falling.

The Day the Jerk Started Falling was an absolutely perfect way to conclude the Jerk Duet! Ollie and Lucky’s story was quite the unique, funny, sexy, and engaging adventure, and I’m so glad that Max Monroe was the one to tell it. This super talented and hilarious author duo continues to be a top favorite, and I can honestly never get enough of their books. Max and Monroe have a special kind of romantic comedy magic, and it was a true pleasure reading their latest masterpiece in the Jerk Duet.
The storyline was fantastic. After reading Lucky’s side of the story in The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks, I loved finally getting Ollie’s side in The Day the Jerk Started Falling. The first half was a little boring at times, but still enjoyable. The second half was definitely my favorite, and I was hooked, line, and sinker. I felt like I was experiencing Ollie and Lucky’s story right alongside them, and couldn’t have loved it more. I laughed and smiled and swooned like a fool, which are the best feelings to have when reading a romantic comedy or any romance, period. Max Monroe did a phenomenal job with the entire Jerk Duet and Ollie and Lucky’s story, and I’ve never read anything like it before. It was unique, fun, sexy, and entertaining, and I was ecstatic with the conclusion.
The characters were phenomenal. Ollie and Lucky were pieces of work and gave each other a run for their money, but I fell head over heels in love with them and their story. I loved their personalities and chemistry together, and how their relationship progressed throughout. I loved reading the book from both Ollie and Lucky’s point of view, and all of their playful, witty, and sometimes hilarious banter and interactions with each other. It wasn’t all fun and games by any stretch of the imagination, but every single moment – both good and bad – was completely worth it in the end.
The Day the Jerk Started Falling was the perfect way to conclude the Jerk Duet and Ollie and Lucky’s story, and I would HIGHLY recommend it and The Day I Stopped Falling for Jerks! Max Monroe have proved time and time again why they are one of the BEST author duo’s out there, and one of my TOP FAVORITE authors EVER! They blew me away with Ollie and Lucky’s story, especially in The Day the Jerk Started Falling, and I can’t wait to read more romantic comedy gold from these two wickedly talented and humorous ladies!
