~Synopsis~

Starting over sucks.

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring… until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

And then he opened his mouth.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something… unexpected happens.

The hot alien living next door marks me.

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon’s touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I’m getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.

If I don’t kill him first, that is.

“Obsidian” was absolutely fan-freaking-tastic! I seriously loved everything about it and couldn’t have asked for a better read. I was captivated from the beginning to the end, and there was never once a dull moment. It was so entertaining and I absolutely loved it!

The storyline was out of this world – no pun intended (wink, wink) – and I absolutely it! I loved the unique and intriguing storyline and thought it was amazing. Jennifer L. Armentrout did a phenomenal job and I give her huge applause for it. I couldn’t have done a better job if I tried. The whole concept of the story was awesome and I never once got bored. I was highly entertained throughout and hardly ever wanted to put it down, I was that riveted.

The characters, my god, they were perfect and I instantly fell in love with them from the very first chapter. I loved Katy and Daemon. They were by far my favorite and I loved their personalities and thought they suited each other very well. They were both head strong and stubborn, and it was so freaking hilarious and entertaining when they argued. I loved their love/hate relationship and couldn’t get enough of them. I honestly can’t wait to see where it goes. Fingers crossed! Another thing I loved was that Katy loved to read and had her own book review blog. I swear, she was a girl after my own heart. I loved her to pieces and thought she was an amazing and strong main female character. I also loved the fact that there were three chapters from Daemon’s POV in the back of the book. It was a very pleasant surprise and I was so glad it was incorporated. Katy and Daemon rocked my world and I’m super excited to read more of their story in the books to come!

I am completely in love with this book and the entire Lux Series. I have read “Obsidian” several times and it has never ceased to get old and has always, always kept me entertained throughout. If you are looking for a book that has action and suspense, romance, humor, sarcasm, an unbelievably amazing storyline and awesome main characters, then please don’t miss out on this AMAZING paranormal romance series. If you haven’t checked it out yet, then please do. It is simply the best and I know you will love it as much as I do! :)
